“As
you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by men but chosen by God and
precious to him— you also, like living stones, are being built into a
spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices
acceptable to God through Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 2:4–5 NIV).
When you come to a larger church, it can be difficult to feel a part of things and to develop meaningful relationships. The best way to “get connected” (as well as to grow spiritually) is through participation in community. For many people this means gathering in smaller groups where intimacy and trust can naturally develop. We therefore offer a variety of groups for men, women, couples, young adults, students, and other select demographics which include home groups, book studies, service groups, and support groups. Regardless of your current life situation or circumstances, there’s a place for you at Living Streams.
Jesus said that it is the love we have for one another that will reveal our identity as his followers to the watching world. Therefore, at LSC we place great emphasis on community formation—not only because our hearts need it but because the world must see it. We would love to welcome you into our fellowship as we continue on this journey together.
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:34–35 NIV).
