60+ Ministry - For Older Adults
The Living Streams 60+ Ministry is a close-knit community of believers who together enjoy fellowship, fun activities, and involvement in service. This is accomplished by providing activities and opportunities for both the active and less active segments of our congregation. The Active Adults ministry is a place where seniors have fun, grow spiritually, and care for one another.
Activities
- once-a-month potluck lunch
- daytime home group
- off-campus trips such as hockey games, the art museum, and ethnic outings (gathering at an ethnic restaurant for food and fellowship)
Future activities may include ministry opportunities such as working with parachurch organizations and possibly a short-term missions trip to Mexico. Dan Reed pastors the ministry of seniors and can be contacted by phone (602.957.7500) or e-mail at the church (

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers” (Galatians 6:9–10 NIV).
